ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS
Eliminating blood stasis and hemostatic,promoting blood flow and analgesic,detoxifying and promoting subsidence of swelling.It is used for treatment of traumatic injury,stagnated blood swelling and pain,spitting blood,hemoptysis,hemotochezia,hemorrhoidal bleeding,metrorrhagia and metrostaxia,suppurative and pyogenic infections and soft tissue bruise,closed fracture,brochiectasis and hemoptysis of pulmonary tuberculosis,ulverative bleeding and infective diseases on skin.

INGREDIENTS
The National secret fomula (Chinese herbs).It contains Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Cocta.,other ingredients are omitted.

PROPERTIES
The content of Yunnan Baiyao Capsules are powder of yellow to light brownish yellow color;with special fragrance,some-what fresh taste and numb feeling to tongue.The Insurance pills are red watered pills,of ball-shapes,of which the cross section face are colored in brown of dark brown,with slight odor and bitter taste.

USAGE AND DOSAGE
As to wounds by knife,bullet or traumatic injury,no matter how severe they have been,the capsules are administered with warm boilded water by the bleeding wounded;The wounded suffer from stagnated blood,swelling and pian and no bleeding wounded take capsules with wine;For patients suffer from diseases of gynecopathy take capsules with wine,but for those suffer from menorrhagia,metrorrhagia take capsules with warm boilied water.For intinal stage of veneous sore,patient administer a dosage of 0.25g and take another portion of medicine powder to mix homogencously with wine which is used to apply on infections part;for suppurative aore,oral administration is needed only.For slight injury and other internal hemorrhage symptom,capsules can be administered orally.

Oral Adminstration:

1-2 capsules each time, 4 times daily (for children: 2 to 5 years old take 1/4 of dosage; 6-12 years old take 1/2 dosage).

For severe traumatic injury,a pill of insurance pill can be administered at first,as to
slight injury no Insurance pill will be needed.

ADVERSE REACTION
Very occasionally reported are hypersensitive rash,tightness in the chest,palpitation,abdominal pain,nausea,vomiting,general intense itching,and urticaria in the trunk and limbs.

Contraindication
It is contraindicated in pregnant women,also in allergic diathesis.

Precautions
1. Avoid broad bean,fish,and sour,cold food within one day after administration.
2. Be sure to clean the wound surface before external use.
3. Be sure to use the drug under the doctor’s supervision and control when high dosage is needed clinically.
4. If hypersensitive reaction occurs after administration,quit the drug at once and give antihypersensitive therapy depending on the severity of
symptoms,and,in the case of external use,first clear away the drug.
5.Use it with caution if your are an athlete.
6. Note:The insurance pill is placed in the middle of blisterpack.
7.It contains Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix Cocta. that is the processed Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix. After special process and manufacturing,the toxicity was largely eliminated,and was within the safty limit.
